Spring Run-Off

Are you ready for springtime and looking to get outside? IGSA's got just the thing for you!

We have created a UofT Immunology team for the annual Spring Run-Off at High Park on the morning of Saturday, April 1st! Both running enthusiasts and casual runners are welcome to join! A fundraising page has been created (details below) and all proceeds will be going to Parkdale Community Food Bank.

Registration: Please register with our team under this link: https://raceroster.com/events/2023/59852/spring-run-off-2023/pledge/team/504325. Current registration price is $55 (~$70 after fees), but this price will be going up by $5 on March 8. The sooner you sign-up, the more you save! Below are some details on registration *Open to DOI graduate students only* :

1. Click the Join team button on the right-hand side of our team page. Sign in or create an account.
2. Select the in-person event you would like to compete in (5K or 8K). Both distances cost the same.
3. Fill in the rest of the registration form.

*If you would like to start the race at the same time as others, choose 35 mins for the 5K race or 60 mins for the 8K race (under 'What is your estimated finishing time?'). You are also welcome to choose the time that is best for you since we will meet before the start of the race.

**Ensure that UofT Immunology is listed as the team you are automatically joining.

​***IGSA will cover the cost of the post-run Pancake Breakfast, so feel free to add this to your order. IGSA will also be covering at least 50% of the rest of the registration fees for graduate students depending on number of registrants.

1. Share your individual or the UofT Immunology fundraising page and start raising money! Our goal is currently set at $500.
